The plan was to take the train to Rieste, walk the rest of the distance, be at the coordinates at 16:00, and take the same way back.

Expedition

In the afternoon, I walked to the Osnabrück-Altstadt station and waited for my train to Rieste. The train was delayed by 10 minutes, and soon 20, 30, 40 minutes. Around this time it became apparent that even if the train arrived in this moment, I'd not reach the coordinates before 16:00, but the decision was taken out of my hands as the train had now been cancelled.

Another train was scheduled an hour after the one I had wanted to take, but the expedition's appeal had now decreased to me, so I decided to do something else instead. I went to Osnabrück Central and spotted the train that was likely supposed to take me to Rieste, still not moving.
