Around noon, I took the train to Hörstel and walked the rest of the distance. Part of the path was a long island in the Dortmund–Ems Canal, leading me to the Wet Triangle (Nasses Dreieck), where the Midland Canal branches off the Dortmund–Ems Canal.
The coordinates weren't far away, I located them around some blackberries near a semi-existing path in a forest, and recorded proof.
Afterwards, I walked back to the station on a different route, along the Midland Canal and the river Hörsteler Aa, and took the train back home to Osnabrück.
