Baarde will cycle from Sélestat to Bahlingen. He expects to arrive around 14:00.

Expedition

Today was a public holiday. I left home after lunch, and cycled to Marckolsheim, then across the Rhine to Germany. As I passed by a farmer picking fruit in an orchard in Endingen, I thought occurred to me: I'd really like some damson plums. 10 minutes later, I noticed a stall by the side of the path, with three punnets of damson plums, a small letterbox, and a sign that said: Obst 2E/kg. This, kids, is another reason why you always bring cash when travelling to Germany. I left a 5€ banknote in the letterbox in exchange for a punnet (totally worth it!), and continued toward Bahlingen.

I reached the coordinates 15 minutes later. The hashpoint was located at the edge of a meadow near the town's entrance. After recording proof, I went to a café downtown to read a little bit while enjoying a yoghurt ice cream with sour cherries and a shandy. Then I cycled back home.
