In a bit of forest in The Hague

On 2024-10-11 52 4, I did my first expedition in Zuid-Holland. That hash was in the “Nieuwe Scheveningse Bosjes” (the new little forest of Scheveningen). This hash was in the “Scheveningse Bosjes” (the little forest of Scheveningen). Visiting two forests with almost the same name was enough reason for me to go on an expedition. So here I went.
I left work and grabbed a train to The Hague central station. I was lucky and immediately was able to take the right bus to get close to the hash. I got off and on both sides of the road was dark forest. Luckily there was at least some light pollution from a nearby sports park and The Hague in general.
Getting to the hash wasn’t too exciting. There were concrete walking paths in the forest, which makes it more of a park I guess and the hash was right on the path. I figured I was the scariest thing in the forest, so it wasn’t that scary either. Right as I was taking the pictures, a jogger came close on a parallel path with their dog. The dog started barking at me, but the jogger kept running. I wonder what they thought I was doing, taking pictures in the dark…..
After the selfie I continued on the path to the exit of the forest. Grabbed another bus home and celebrated another successful hash.
