The Tawas, Michigan graticule is at latitude 44, longitude -83. It is comprised of about 40% water (Lake Huron), and includes the cities of Tawas City, East Tawas, and Oscoda.
This graticule features excellent canoeing on the Au Sable River, the Oscoda-Wurtsmith Airport (on the site of the now-defunct Wurtsmith Air Force Base), and the Alpena State Park/Thunder Bay area.
