I'm considering posting the source code that produces the Most Active Graticules pages here on this page. I wanted to hear "Aye's" or "Nay's" with a reason why for Nay. --NWoodruff 10:24, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- Aye. Source code is good. But you might want to consider posting it to a place that's more adequate for handling source code than a wiki... github? -- relet 10:25, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- Aye, if on GitHub, Bitbucket or alike--Fasanen 15:07, 8 March 2012 (EST)
- The source code is slightly over 1000 lines. It is less than the actual lines in the most active graticules report. If I post the source to something else like github, what happens when someone posts source code to decrypt bluray's or source code to stream free movies and the FBI takes down github on the media companies behalf. Source code is gone. If I post it here it will always be with the website. if I get hit by a bus and or disappear for sometime, someone else can get the source and pick up where I left off.--NWoodruff 07:40, 9 March 2012 (EST)
- I consider github to be more stable than this wiki and better adapted to the task. -- relet 09:08, 9 March 2012 (EST)
