From Geohashing

So accessible! I'll try to make it for 4pm, but since it's Thanksgiving weekend, and my friends with GPS have gone home, I can't promise anything. HollyB 14:51, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Wow, that is the best geohash chalk marking I have ever seen. Next time we're together I'm holding the bikes and you're writing. I bought a jumbo bucket of sidewalk chalk for $1.49 at Zellers. I'll bring extra to give away at the next geohash I attend within 200 km of Vancouver. Thank you everyone for upholding the Vancouver geohashing tradition. I hope to score some new graticules in the next few weeks, including maybe in the Yukon or Québec, but I'd rather come to a geohash with you guys at it. Good job to both the DJI and you for finally getting areal Saturday. Here's to many more! -Robyn 03:02, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Haha, thanks. I think I'll have to go and get some better chalk though, the dollar store stuff disintegrates rather rapidly.

And about those new graticules; the Yukon or Qubec? What on earth are you planning? Those two locations aren't exactly next to each other, or even in the same direction! :D Thepiguy 03:11, 12 October 2008 (UTC)

Planning? I don't get to plan. My customer tells me that I'll be on the Yukon border next week and the week after that probably in the Montreal area. They'll probably change that and send me to Colorado and New Mexico instead, but I still get paid the same. I just fly where they tell me, and keep my eyes peeled for geohashes on the way. :-) -Robyn 03:18, 12 October 2008 (UTC)
