- A raised stand is the same thing as a raised hide. Since my dictionary gave both and I didn't know which one is more common, I used the first. - Danatar 07:36, 12 May 2009 (UTC)

- It's basically a wooden construct in the forest, a seat for a hunter, usually with a roof, that's a couple of meters off the ground and accessible via a ladder. Offers a rest for the gun as well. They're ubiquituous here, can't walk through a forest without seeing at least one. --dawidi 09:17, 12 May 2009 (UTC)
