Excellent video David! I like the way it's presented, and I love the safety belt advice :) I think you did really well to hold the camera so steady while driving: I don't think I would have liked to try that, to be honest. Your car sounds a bit more powerful than mine, so I wasn't surprised that you made it in the end. Or was that just a noisy exhaust? LOL! I found it possible to reach the speed from both directions, but only just - I never quite made it going South, we succeeded while going North in the end. I think maybe the darkness was to our advantage because there was less traffic about and it was easier to see oncoming headlights due to the contrast. --macronencer 17:53, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

wouldn't it be funny if the other car was us! we arrived at about 20:40 I think. we saw a car parked in a siding near the hash and jokingly wondered if it might be a geohasher. the car was empty. -- sermoa 20:05, 1 October 2009 (UTC)

I think I was almost in Wales by that time :-). I did wonder when seeing your expedition whether the car in my last attempt was you. Regarding the direction, I found I couldn't do it from the south, the bends before the hashpoint were too much for me to handle. The straight northern approach was the only way to do it.
