I'm going to be in Squamish all weekend, so I can't actually meet up for this, nor guarantee I'll be back in Vancouver before midnight. My plan is to make a detour there on the way home, and hope to find chalk markings. -Yangman 13:59, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
If any Americans want to come up on the train for the day, we will do our best to provide you with hot dogs and Coca Cola and American cheese and whatever else you need to celebrate your holiday. Wade can't make it until the early afternoon, but any time after 1 p.m. is good for us. -Robyn 17:36, 2 July 2010 (UTC)

- If I left today by train, it wouldn't get there till next week. I have a long story about a daughter of mine that I had when I was 19 years old, 25 years ago, that I have never met, never seen, that has recently contacted me by phone in Feburary this year. She lives there in Vancouver. I'm trying to make plans to go see her. I'll tell you the story one day if you are interested. --NWoodruff 13:42, 3 July 2010 (UTC)

- Doesn't look like it could be before Jul 6. Looks like 46 hours to get from Chicago to Vancouver alone. (Yes, I did have the Amtrak website open since I was thinking about going north, but I've got too many things I have to do around here. But it was really tempting....) Jiml 20:41, 2 July 2010 (UTC)
