Farmland

To respond to your inquiry: Agriculturally speaking, I don't think treading on an empty field in early January will do any damage to future crops. The more important aspect here is the spirit of geohashing in response to private property (that is, don't trespass). I have a lot of days of cornfield locations where I am too, in Peoria, so I just don't even try to get there. If you are more bold than me, try to get permission from the owner of the field, if you can ascertain who it is that owns it. Then you can award yourself the Ambassador achievement.
