I suspect my locking myself up for days for linguistic analysis and her desire for a subject on which I might be willing to converse with her (she doesn't get on particularly well with her elder sister, and her other brother isn't exactly talkative) helped a lot initially. However, she managed to get herself hooked up on her own (happens easily) and has subsequently become kind of creepy. I mean, at her age, the most offbeat language I learnt was Sanskrit. Also, she did Latin at a considerably younger age than I did. I hope this is going to be temporary or I'll have to blame myself for ruining her life.

As for Tocharian B, I know exactly that she chose to specialize in that one because I admittedly suck at it. I think she's trying to overtake me so I'll depend on her. Well, having a talking encyclopedia on TochB won't hurt. Makes me feel a little bad, though. I do talk to her and sometimes even play games with her, you know. Arimaa, mainly. And not just to get new strategies for my bot.

On the other hand, I have to admit that the difference between our ways of speaking is a little overdone in the report. But sadly, the thing with the sign error is true. However, I'm positive she'd been peeking for minutes to pretend she'd spotted it in an instant. You know how children are. --Calamus 03:29, 4 July 2012 (EDT)
