Go Go Globalhash!
- Finally -- a globalhash in the UK. But it's at completely the wrong end of the country for me. I'm almost tempted to go for it, though, but I just wouldn't have the time (or stamina) to make the required 1550km road trip. I don't think flights and a car rental would be feasible at short notice. And I'd have to actually get to the hash in the dark. And then be at work at 06:30 the following morning. - Well, if it had been anywhere in England I would have gone. But northeast Scotland is just a little too far. And the annoying thing is that I had Thursday as my day off work this week (which meant I could possibly have made it to the hash on Wednesday), but I'd found I'd double-booked myself this weekend, so I'd asked at short notice for myday off to be changed to Saturday about eight hours before the globalhash was announced. If someone doesn't get there the whole geohashing world will be disappointed with the UK.
