three possibilities come to mind
1) "Frisbee" is so trademarked that you can't even say the word 2) you are mocking ridiculous trademark laws by not saying "frisbee" 3) you are talking about something distinctly different from a frisbee 4) where you come from, everyone calls frisbees "novelty flying disc"s"
Frisbee was a cat who, sadly, got run over, flattened and sun dried. The local kids found that if flew quite well when launched with some spin. Hence the game of Frisbee. Now of course we have dead cat quadcopters.
