Rankin Inlet, verified in the Geographical Names of Canada database at 62° 49' 00" N - 92° 05' 00" W, has a population of almost 2500, and scheduled air service. The community of Rankin Inlet may change its name in the future to Kangiqsliniq, but Rankin Inlet is still the official name, and a better name for the graticule. -Robyn 22:16, 5 May 2009 (UTC)
