PhD student in Toulouse, France. Still very new to all this: I like to ride bicycles, hike, admire natural scenery and plants, large and grandiose or small and insignificant. It seems there have been little geohashing activity in the region of Occitanie, southwestern France, somewhat understandable because most of the hashpoints fall on farmlands. I hope I can change that a bit, although I am quite constrained by my budget and workhours. My current strategy is to look for points reachable by train and bike. And who knows, maybe I can puppet-master some friends and relatives back in Taiwan sometime......(which, admittedly, is a really tough place to play this: over half of the points will fall deep inside the mountains or right the in the ocean)
Successful hashes
- 2019-03-26 43 1 Dieupentale/Verdun-sur-Garonne in the Tarn-et-Garonne department. Went there early in the morning before work by train and by bike.
- 2019-04-25 43 1 Dieupentale/Verdun-sur-Garonne in the Tarn-et-Garonne department, again. This time I went there around noon, also by train and by bike.
- 2019-05-11 43 1 Montpitol in the Haute-Garonne department. First geohashing done completely on bike.
