I have lived in Berlin since 2016, beeing from Bremen originally (well, born in Lüneburg). My age can be guessed from my username. After I did some geocaching and geodashing years ago, I found geohashing on the internet in early March 2024 - and I am faszinated by the idea of combining spontanteous adventures outside with my spleen for geography, maps and GPS. I have been an active contributor to openstreetmaps for ten years.

I look forward to finding places I never searched for, to get in contact with the geohashing community and to enjoy a senseless game, the fun of it and the deeper meaning of finding out that any place on our earth is special.

I am travelling by foot, bus, train and other public transport, sometimes bicycle, but never by car. I do not have a car and never had one. This way it will be slow geohashing :-)
