Katie lives just southeast of Baltimore in the lovely town of Dundalk, MD. She enjoys music, stand-up comedy, going to shows for both, road trips, webcomics (obviously), epic/fantasy books and movies, NES games, math, linux, and other various forms of nerdery. She spends too much time on the internets, but has recently picked up bike riding again and is attempting to spend more time out-of-doors.

8/23/08 40,-76 (Harrisburg, PA graticule) - After minor trespassing in someone's front yard, we got delicious sandwiches at the 4 Brother's Tavern nearby.
8/16/08 39,-77 (Frederick, MD graticule) - It wasn't until *after* I fell in the stream that we discovered that the electric fence we were attempting to circumvent was actually dead.
6/14/08 38,-77 (Washington, DC (West) graticule) - We were chased inside a food court by threats of 60 mph winds and hail. (Lies!) We played games for a while, then wandered down the street to a pub. Good times!
