User talk:ChromeCrusaders
Hello and welcome ChromeCrusaders.
I hope you don't mind - I have moved your disaster description and achievements to the expedition page (the usual place for tales of woe or joy) and corrected the link to point to the correct expedition. --Sourcerer (talk) 08:55, 4 February 2015 (EST)
Hello ChromeCrusaders,
welcome here!
There is a ferry achievement for your last expedition: Gratuitous_Ribbon#Examples :-)
Greetings --Q-Owl (talk) 17:43, 6 February 2015 (EST)
I don't know, what you want to get, but you should take a look to [1] --GeorgDerReisende (talk) 13:44, 29 March 2015 (EDT)
Your visit to the Bittern Line means Norwich has beaten the February record for expeditions. One more and we'll beat the "Coordinates reached" record as well - neat --Sourcerer (talk) 11:27, 28 May 2015 (EDT)
Sourcerer is away for the summer solstice weekend. He can't reach the points for Fri, Sat or Sun in 52, 1. If we are going to overtake Atlanta again he'll need your help.
Yea! You passed your electronics. Everyone in the group passed. I'll be celebrating with a beer this evening. --Sourcerer (talk) 10:44, 13 August 2015 (EDT)
Sourcerer is away Fri 4th, Sat 5th and Sun 6th Sept so he can't reach the points in 52, 1. I'm hoping to beat the Atlanta year record held for the last six years! If successful we'll be the all time most active graticule (over a year). If you're free and there's a suitable point this is the time to go for it! --Sourcerer (talk) 16:01, 2 September 2015 (EDT)

Employment
Yes - work is a bit of a drag. I returned to student life twice to avoid it! I don't miss teaching apart from the fun, games and jokes but I can get that at the pub! It'll be worth watching Most active graticules for the next couple of weeks. Right now, we match Atlanta, Georgia for number of expeditions in a year. We need eight more "coordinates reached" to match their 2009 all-time record. With average luck, we should reach that in early December.
I had a bit of a health scare which you can read about here with an update here. I'm in better shape now but still being monitored just in case.
Geohashing Day Invitation
All geohashers are cordially invited to the 10th anniversary 2018 geohashing day meetup in the Cambridge UK graticule.
- 21 May 2018 (Mon): An excellent celebration of Geohashing Day will take place at 4pm local time at a place yet to be determined.
- 26 May 2018 (Sat): is Mouse Over Day and might be more convenient so the invitation applies to this day too.
2016 GHD needs editing.
Amnesia appears three times as Josh's girlfriend's name. Amnesia is a nice enough name but please could you correct it. I don't think I was listening during the introductions or "plink - there goes another marble". Cheers --Sourcerer (talk) 10:54, 22 May 2016 (UTC)

Stalking?
I was getting my Škoda serviced and exploring the area to kill a bit of time. Not too interesting really. --Sourcerer (talk) 20:36, 25 November 2016 (UTC)
- I didn't specify who was stalking whom! Perhaps we should stop this thread before it gets creepier! --Sourcerer (talk) 15:33, 27 November 2016 (UTC)
Too busy with reviseOmatic V4
I'm fine. It's true. I'm not hashing quite so much but Norwich is still top or second in the league tables. I was expecting to launch rOmV4 in May but I got a couple of requests from schools that have already started the GCSE courses. So there has been a bit of a panic to get the student and teacher tools working properly. You might be psychic though. My dog died. She was old and her liver was failing. --Sourcerer (talk) 14:54, 13 March 2017 (UTC)
