Congrats for Tauranga

Nice job getting the Tauranga Virgin graticule Jacksonz

Thanks Jacksonz! Hopefully you'll be down in Christchurch and we can celebrate over a beer -- Mark PS: I've just discovered the cool effect you get if you finish the post here with 4 tilde marks Quaternary (talk) 20:00, 20 September 2016 (UTC)

Thanks for the Icon

After rooting through your enjoyable expedition reports, I have modified Arrived.png and added it to Category: Icons where it might get re-used on the wiki. --Sourcerer (talk) 15:20, 11 November 2016 (UTC)

Thank you very much Sourcerer (talk) for your kind words - I am glad you have enjoyed my expedition reports! By the way the image that you have placed in the Category: Icons is a screen shot of an app I once downloaded from the Apple App Store called "Cheap GPS", but unfortunately the app doesn't seem to be there any more. From memory it changes from Colder.png to 'WARMER' to 'ARRIVED' when you reach the geohash. Simple yet effective! --Quaternary (talk) 09:10, 17 November 2016 (UTC)

Israel/Palestine

Hi Quarternary,

Just recently, somebody made a page for Palestine. You might have seen that I have done several geohashes like this one: 2018-08-09 31 35 which are in Judea and Samaria, colloquially, the West Bank (of the Jordan River). I've explained that because of treaties, history, and the facts on the ground that Judea and Samaria cannot be considered Palestine. I'm requesting that you weigh in on the topic so that we can define all of the geohashes that I have done as in Israel and the only Palestine geohashes will be those inside areas ruled by the Palestinian Authority.

Thank you,
