Going to try for the FVRD? You've got 49, -121 obviously in Harrison Lake, and you've hit -49, -122 a number of times. -49, -120 and -50, -121 might be possible with a lucky Sunday grat. -50, -122 looks nigh impossible though... Which parts of that -49, -120 are FVRD territory, anyway? Anyone got a map? - Wmcduff 02:14, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
Hmm. -50, -122 would require somehow getting to Baptise Smith. I wonder how people get there? - Wmcduff 02:18, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
50, -122 has highway 99, Squamish to Lillooet. Not an accessible graticule, but not impossible. Unless there's a different Robyn who geohashes in -50 :-)
Regional district maps from Stats BC are linked from my RD page. They're not great, but they are there. -- Rhonda 02:27, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- The regional districts are so convoluted I haven't quite worked them out yet. I'm scared of those maps. Does the GVRD end with Surrey? I thought it included all the areas in the Surrey graticule where I have hashed. I would have thought the FVRD ended at Hope. Baptiste Smith is accessible via a really crappy road that goes from Pemberton to Tipella. My next goal is the reverse regional in the Victoria graticule. I just realized today that I have never been to a British Columbia location in the Victoria graticule, but I've been to a Washington state one. If you figure out where I need to go to get the FVRD, feel free to add the notifications to my table. Rhonda, he's talking about getting to the part of 50, -122 that is in the FVRD. -Robyn 02:43, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ah, I see. I do have a provincial RD boundary map that has lat/long encoded; used with the RD maps that show names, you might be able to get a better idea of boundaries. It's a ~4MB file so I can't post it on the wiki; let me know and I can email it to you. -- Rhonda 02:50, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- GVRD goes out to Langley/Maple Ridge, and does not include Mission/Abbotsford. The boundary is right around Crescent Island, and I know you know where that is! -- Rhonda 19:55, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
- LAUGH! Oh boy do I ever. -Robyn 19:59, 20 May 2009 (UTC)
