The point is close to the Harthill Services, so it's quite easy to get to via the Edinburgh bus. Since buses are free for me (Under 22 and Scottish), I'll head down to Buchanan Bus Station and try to get one towards the point. It's usually recommended to book tickets for these inter-city buses in advance, but this is only a half-hearted plan, so I'm avoiding taking up a space that I might not use. If I do carry out the expedition, I'll just take my chances with there being space left. I'll supposedly get to the point at around 2:40pm if I leave the house at 12:40pm.

And if I end up having plans for the day with going to see family and tidying the house for all the extension work going on, I'll end up not having time and won't try to get to the point at all.
