I'll probably go for saturday's hash (2009-04-04 48 8) near Hechingen, either by bike or train. If someone wants to join, drop me a note. --Ekorren 14:10, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

2009-04-25: I'm yet undecided whether to go to the 48,8 point above Baiersbronn or the 48,9 point at Sankt Johann. The Baiersbronn point is in rather steep terrain, but seems to be accessible. The topographic map shows an old wolf catching pit almost exactly at the location. If someone else wants to go there, please drop me a note ASAP. I would probably come by bike from Freudenstadt, and prefer to shift the meetup time and go before 4 pm (which would only be valid for the Centurion if it's an actual meetup).

Sunday looks like an easy place to go from Karlsruhe :)

2009-04-26: I can go there, but it's rather unlikely I do. Unless someone wants to meet there, that is.
:Indeed. :-) Well, I think I'll go to visit 2009-04-05 48 8 though I don't know the time of day by now. --Fluxkompensator 15:39, 3 April 2009 (UTC)

Upcoming locations, plans

2009-04-25: I'm yet undecided whether to go to the 48,8 point above Baiersbronn or the 48,9 point at Sankt Johann. The Baiersbronn point is in rather steep terrain, but seems to be accessible. The topographic map shows an old wolf catching pit almost exactly at the location. If someone else wants to go there, please drop me a note ASAP. I would probably come by bike from Freudenstadt, and prefer to shift the meetup time and go before 4 pm (which would only be valid for the Centurion if it's an actual meetup).

2009-04-26: I can go there, but it's rather unlikely I do. Unless someone wants to meet there, that is.

Old and deprecated naming talk

This page should be renamed/joined to/with Karlsruhe, Germany by largest city policy. Karlsruhe is only partly in this graticule but it is more than double the size of Pforzheim. Karlsruhe isn't the largest city in the bordering graticule so there is no name collision. I created Karlsruhe because that graticule was not in All Graticules and discovered Pforzheim only later.

I would object. Naming a graticule after Karlsruhe makes its location ambiguous, and the city is not large enough (compared to its surrounding cities, e.g. Mannheim) to name the two graticules after it, making it a split city. lyx suggested naming it Karlsruhe (South). I don't care strongly, but I'd opt for Pforzheim. -- Relet 13:05, 4 September 2008 (UTC)
