Yeah, I'm afraid you're right. While it's very cool that you accidentally crossed paths with the next day's geohash, the sport is based around reaching coordinates on the given day, so the coincidence doesn't qualify you for any existing ribbons. Write up an account, link to it on your user page, and keep an eye out for an opportunity to reach a geohash in a balloon, because we'd love to hear about that! Maybe one of the geohashes this weekend is accessible for you? -[[User:Robyn|Robyn]] 02:57, 20 September 2008 (UTC)

Could someone clarify what achievements this grants me and the others?

I'm currently looking at:

  • Balloon/Air Geohash- but thinking that that requires flying on the day, rather than pre-emptively, and also, I was not in the balloon.
  • Speed Racer Geohash - exact location was passed through by us in the retrieve vehicle on the way back home on Fri, and in both directions on Sat.
  • Deja Vu Geohash
  • Land Geohash

Thanks, Joehardflec 22:44, 19 September 2008 (UTC)
