I overslept, checked the coordinates right at 6:30, then closed my laptop. With sunrise at 7:07am, I could get close to a sunrise geohash, but probably not make it. Then again I have to hope the coordinates don't drift off this spot - darn DOW is dropping like a meteor. I overslept, checked the coordinates right at 6:30, then closed my laptop. With sunrise at 7:07am, I could get close to a sunrise geohash, but probably not make it. Then again I have to hope the coordinates don't drift off this spot - darn DOW is dropping like a meteor. To the XKCD-mobile!
The sun rose while I was still in downtown Bothell, just a few miles short of the spot. The neighborhood itself was full of kids waiting for their school busses, so I snapped a photo of the front of the house and the accessway, then drove 3.2 miles to work. As a few famous people have said, "I'll be back."
Thomcat PM planning
I'll be there spot on at 4:00. There is a little neighborhood park near the big water tower in the picture, and thus quite near the hash. I've got Hive in the car. Let me know you are coming and I'll bring along a coke beverage for you.
