Can I make a tiny request? Could someone (not me) add secondary links to all the graticules, pointing to pages named, for example, [[-19,146]]?  In my gradual, slightly compulsive drive to map half of North Queensland, I've been going around making names up willy-nillyNot half an hour ago did I notice this awesome page, and fortunately most of my made-up names align;  but in some cases (like Undara, where a local would always refer to that area by a name that other people might not think of) we're quite different. However, for every graticule I've (mis-)named, I've always made sure to make a LAT,LONG page that redirects to the actually-named pageSo if the map linked to those LAT,LONG pages as well as the actual pages, that would be really cool(And it would help me see which graticules I've named different.)

Ok, it doesn't look right just now. As soon as I work out why that is...

Looks fine now :) --joannac 14:54, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

Aussie Shaped

Hey. I hope you don't mind me making that minor edit to the shape. I think it looks better when it is shaped like Australia. Feel free to undo if you want. --CJ 23:38, 8 October 2008 (UTC)

It's beautiful, CJ, thankyou very much. I owe you one. --UnwiseOwl 10:44, 9 October 2008 (CDST)

Looks lovely, look forward to checking it out properly when I get out of -37 140 and back to a decent internet connection! Kate 15:08, 10 October 2008 (UTC)

Alternate Links

Hi folks. At the risk of stepping on peoples' toes, I made some littleish additions to the map. It's very awesome, by the way.

 • First, I continued each row out to the eastern border, so it no longer halts abruptly at the east cost.
 • Second, in each graticule I added a link to the LAT,LONG page for that graticule. This will greatly help people like me who have been going around making graticule pages completely unaware of this groovy project and naming things mostly at random, so we can try to unify the names in those few places where we differ.

I hate editing things in other peoples' user namespace. Feel free to roll back any changes you don't like. Hopefully it's okay.

By the way, what's it like living in a graticule that doesn't suck? --Matty, 01:56, 11 October 2008 (UTC)
