Expedition
Danatar
I planned to cycle on the bicycle track along the Main to Retzbach and then climb the 50 metres altitude to the hashpoint. 5 minutes after starting I passed a gas station and decided to add some air to my tires. Next thing that happened was a very loud "KABOOM", my left ear was ringing and the wheel rim was not looking as good as before. At first I though I had misprogrammed the tire inflator, but the pressure shown on the display was correct. Either the tire inflator was broken (which would explain the strange sounds it made) or my rim was long past its best days (which is more likely). I had to carry my bike 1 km to the next bicycle shop. By now the bike is repaired and my ear is working again, but I won't give the hashpoint another try today.
Danatar earned the Train wreck consolation prize
