: There is a webcam on that lighthouse?! If I had known, I would have come earlier and risked breaking my ankles trying to write XKCD into the dark field of ice (the sand was about a half metre below). Anyway that's not me on the picture. I arrived at the spot at about 8:20 and entered the shore behind that tree at the left. Good to see you made it to this beautiful and very lucky hashpoint. During sunrise, I kept watching the webcam, hoping to discover you. Sunrise was at 08:34, when have you been there? I've seen somebody near the hash at 8:15. I would have written a giant xkcd into the sand in front of the camera. :) --Ilpadre 17:08, 9 January 2009 (UTC)

There is a webcam on that lighthouse?! If I had known, I would have come earlier and risked breaking my ankles trying to write XKCD into the dark field of ice (the sand was about a half metre below). Anyway that's not me on the picture. I arrived at the spot at about 8:20 and entered the shore behind that tree at the left. But that could be the woman with two dogs that said hello to me. --Hermann 23:39, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
Well, I wrote you about the webcam: "... der hashpoint liegt genau im Sichtbereich dieser Webcam ...". But I would not have wanted you to break your ankles. ;)

Oh, and here is a picture of me exactly (within a few meters!) at the hashpoint, throwing a stone into the Elbe:

Good Idea. I have been at the shore many, many times. There must be a picture of me at that location, too. I used to stay more in the west, though. --Hermann 23:39, 20 January 2009 (UTC)
