The 53, 0 graticule has boundaries from latitude 53° to 54°, and longitude 0° to 1° and contains much of the coast of Lincolnshire, including the towns of Skegness and Mablethorpe. Further north, it contains a very small portion of East Yorkshire, east of Hull. The North Sea area is Humber.

- 21 May 2018 (Mon): An excellent celebration of Geohashing Day will take place at 4pm local time at a place yet to be determined.
- 26 May 2018 (Sat): is Mouse Over Day and might be more convenient so the invitation applies to this day too.

- 04 September 2010 (Sat): In a harvested wheat field just north of Sibsey, Boston, Lincolnshire, UK. Sourcerer visited four hash points on this day and this one was a virgin geohash. The other hashpoints were in Hull, Northampton and Cambridge.
