Most of the graticule looks more or less like this.
46,-125 Ocean Shores, Washington Astoria
45,-125 North Lincoln City McMinnville
44,-125 Newport Eugene

Today's location: not yet announced

This graticule is located off the Oregon Coast to the west of Pacific City, Tillamook, and Cannon Beach. It is almost entirely taken up by the Pacific Ocean. However, to its extreme southeast there are a few square miles of land north of Lincoln City that fall within the graticule. Also, roughly 25 miles to the north, the extreme tip of long, slender Cape Lookout pokes into the graticule.

Expedition History

2010-08-31 45 -124 -- Michael5000 and Mrs.5000 scale cliffs and endure torrents to reach a hilltop, all so they can say that they were the first to geohash this virtually ungeohashable graticule.
