Plans

If I do the Palisades Parkway geohash Friday night, I will go to this one about midnight on Saturday.

Multihash, Déjà Vu Geohash, Consecutive geohash achievement, maybe a meetup? Hopefully no police :-)

Expedition

It's 25 of midnight. I'm sitting a few blocks from the geohash, on a two-block long street with the audacity to ba called Main Street. Back and around the corner is Wood Avenue, and the geohash is just east of Firehouse #4, serving the Tremley Point neighborhood of Linden.

It's 1988, and I'm driving my Nissan Sentra down Wood Avenue to deliver pizza to the guards at the Exxon refinery, at the eastern reaches of Linden.

It's 20 of midnight, and I am typing.

It's 1978, and I'm walking toward Lawson Park, a few blocks from my house on Second Avenue. My Big Brother Sense tells me to look behind me, and I see my 2 1/2 yr old sister following me. She has already crossed one street unaided.

It is 17 minutes to midnight, and my coffee is getting cold.

It is 1993, and I am standing on a train platform waiting for the local to take me to Penn Station. If I catch the #7 Subway up to NJIT and hurry up the hill, I will be only 5 minutes late for class.

It is 1988 and pouring. The customer gives me a 5 dollar tip for delivering ab 8-dollar pizza despite the rain. I cross "postman" off my list of jobs I'd like to try.

It is 11:49, and I am walking toward an invisible target.

It is 11:55, and the sidewalk is flooded. I walk through the grass along he side of the walk . . . where the water is deeper.

It is 1986, and I am walking along the highway, having walked home from school, over five miles, after missing his bus connection. A tractor trailer finds a puddle along the highway, then the water finds me on the sidewalk. It is 22 years before the invention of FML.
