(by srs0?) I'm sure the above way is probably cheaper, but I have surgery at 06:30 Monday morning, so arriving home past midnight isn't an option for me. Here's my idea from Würzburg:

• Start at Würzburg at 08:31, arrival at München at 10:41 (ICE 581)
• Continuing at 11:12, arrival at Tutzing at 11:39 (RB 30613)
• Continuing at 11:46, arrival at Weilheim(Oberbay) at 12:06 (Bus)
• Continuing at 12:11, same as above from here.

Yes, the second version was by me (srs0). Also, since I don't actually know any of the plans yet (and asking thepiguy resulted in "I don't know, I'm not doing any of the planning"), what's the transportation outline? Ekorren mentioned a group ticket, so I assume that means the idea was to buy a 5-person ticket and use that?
