"In the middle of a field. Very nice breezy day, with pop-up storms nearby. Very nice day to go for a walk, dodging last year's corn stalks."
Satellite imagery shows it more on the edge of a field, but the field could have been merged with another since the picture. It seems like a description of an actual expedition that entered the field and reached the point.
