After the nice international meetup the day before Manu and Reinhard traveled to Cape Cod. There they spent the night at a motel and rent road bikes to explore the Cape. When Juja sent the coordinates by SMS, the two drove their first kilometers on the Cape Cod Rail Trail to the north - thus into the completely wrong direction. Nevertheless they did not turn around, but drove until Provincetown, sat at the fine sand beach and enjoyed the area (with its many unexpected ascents). Only against 5 pm they returned to the bike shop. The car was waiting and they decided to do a small detour on their way back to Boston. Unfortunately there were a lot of traffic jams, but after a while they arrived in Mashpee. Unfortunately the way near the geohash was only built of sand. First Reinhard tried to drive there, but soon he saw that this was senseless and drove instead carefully backwards back towards the main street. Geohash expeditions like this one must be the reason for the fact that so many Americans drive pickup trucks! So Manu and Reinhard had to walk about half a mile, before they entered the brushwood. Around them they heard scary noises and the branches scratched their skin, but finally they made it to the hash. Quickly some photos were taken and the hashers hurried back to the car, where Wischi already waited for them as he did not want to come along earlier. Together they got back to Boston in the evening and left the US the next day. It was a great time with great geo hashes.

Expedition

After the nice international meetup the day before Manu and Reinhard traveled to Cape Cod. There they spent the night in a motel and rent road bikes to explore the Cape. When Juja sent the coordinates by SMS, the two cycled their first kilometers on the Cape Cod Rail Trail to the north - thus into the completely wrong direction. Nevertheless they did not turn around, but rode to Provincetown, sat at the fine sand beach and enjoyed the area (with its many unexpected ascents). Only about 5 pm they returned to the bike shop. The car was waiting and they decided to do a small detour on their way back to Boston. Annoyingly there were a lot of traffic jams, but after a while they arrived in Mashpee. Unfortunately the way near the geohash was only built of sand. First Reinhard tried to drive there, but soon he saw that this was senseless and instead carefully drove back towards the main street. It was a great time with great geohashes.
