I have a night painting job going on near NWoodruff's hood, so I cruised up there to check out the progress. The job is a medical center renovation, and everytime I walk in, I can just feel the swine flu bugs rushing to infect me! Fortunately, we will be done this week, but I need to get some more work throughout the graticule to give me an excuse to hash. I hit the hash area around 9PM; parked and tried to see if NWoodruff had left any mark. I couldn't find one, so I busted a u-turn and drove back through at the legally prescribed 45mph.
NWoodruff
I usually take this route when there has been a bad accident on the interstates and traffic going east is backed up. I have passed over this spot hundreds of times in the past but never would have guessed that it would eventually become a Geohash spot.
I did drive home from work taking my usual back roads. I came upon the geohash and tried for another Speed Racer but as I was approaching the street light had changed to red. I did manage to get a picture but not at 0.00 feet to go. But, I was within the 10 meters when I snapped the picture. I was looking at the cars in front of me so I wouldn't run in to them, instead of looking at the eTrex.
I turned the corner and parked and walked back to the hash spot. I waited till the light turned red again and then walked out into the traffic to get an exact picture of the spot. Success! The internet Jay Walks again!!
I take a few pictures then get back in my truck and continue on my way home.
