Danatar
The shortest (but not fastest) route between my home and work goes through Eßleben, so for a change I took that one instead of the Autobahn after having left from home 10 minutes earlier than usual. In Eßleben I turned right into Bahnhofstraße ("train station street") and parked the car next to the pitiful excuse for a train station I found there. I followed a track covered by frozen snow (and with a cross-country ski run in the middle) to the hashpoint, stepped three steps into the equally frozen-snow-covered field to get the coordinates exactly right and took the usual pictures. The erstwhile snow was too hard to build a snowman and this morning it was colder than in the last days (about -4°C), so the pain in my not glove-covered fingers made me hurry back to the car soon.
