I'd say you made it.  If you didn't have a GPS, and were using Google Maps, I can't imagine you'd be anymore

Arbitration needed

... I walked up to the gate to the back garden, at which point the GPS read 3.65m to go. I didn't want to open the gate and charge into their back garden without permission, so I didn't go any further, but I noticed when I got back to the car that the GPS accuracy was hovering around 4m. So... did I get the geohash or not?

Personally I think it's first of all a matter of the geohasher himself being convinced that he reached the coordinates, but you may also want to check the comments here. --Crox 21:55, 27 August 2010 (UTC)

I'd say you made it. If you didn't have a GPS, and were using Google Maps, I can't imagine you'd be anymore accurately "there". Jiml 01:55, 29 August 2010 (UTC)
