I took a train to Engstlatt in the morning, and went to the hash from there. The hash seemed to be a little bit into a field, but only a few metres, so it should be legitimate to call that "reached". Castle Hohenzollern surely dominated the area as a landscape feature, so there are a few pics of that...

Then I went on some bike trip via Grosselfingen and Haigerloch down the Eyach valley, where a vintage MAN railcar was supposed to run that day, which I intended to catch for the way home. However, for some reason it had been replaced by a newer but also uncommon ''NE81'' railcar.

Expedition

Short version:

I took a train to Engstlatt in the morning, and went to the hash from there. The hash seemed to be a little bit into a field, but only a few metres, so it should be legitimate to call that "reached". Castle Hohenzollern surely dominated the area as a landscape feature, so there are a few pics of that...

Then I went on some bike trip via Grosselfingen and Haigerloch down the Eyach valley, where a vintage MAN railcar was supposed to run that day, which I intended to catch for the way home. However, for some reason it had been replaced by a newer but also uncommon NE81 railcar.
