Location

At the edge of a pond in a housing complex in Margate.

Participants

Million zillion

Plans

Worked from home in the morning, then stopped at the hashpoint on the way into the office. I had to study Google Maps closely to confirm that this location was accessible to the public.

Expedition

I arrived at the hashpoint a little before noon and parked in a lot close to the south end of the pond. There were no significant obstacles - unless you count a massive pothole in the driveway leading into the complex. The apartments were nothing special, but the pond and the trees around it were quite nice.

I found the hashpoint on dry land a few feet from the water - just far enough away that I could stand on the slope right there without falling in. There was an interesting (and occupied) spiderweb high overhead, suspended between two trees. I took a couple of photos of the web, along with the hashpoint itself and other views of the scenery.
