This Geohash spot was on my way home if I took surface streets instead of the interstate. I was hoping that this would also be a drive up geohash.
I drove to the house and was going to pull all the way into the driveway to make it a "Not get out of your Vehicle" geohash. But as I pulled up to the house there were other cars in the driveway. I decided to park on the street. I did take pictures from inside my truck, only 8 feet short of making it.
I grabbed my printed out Google map and headed to the front door. I noticed that I did walk though the geohash spot on my way to the door. I knocked on the door and waited about 15 seconds.
An older couple came to the door and I gave them the short speech about Geohashing. It seemed to work as I got permission to take pictures, but only of my eTrex.
I snapped a few quick pictures and thanked the couple and I went on my way.
I then drove back to Norcross.
