Expedition
Danatar
I prepared my brother's bike around noon. While pumping air into the tires, I heard a loud BANG and felt instantly reminded of 2008-12-09 49 9, but it was only the tube of the pump. At 14:15 I started and cycled over field paths to Dossenheim. This flat part of the route took about half an hour. Then there was the hill slope. The more than 300 elevation metres took me 40 minutes of slow cycling, but I made it without a stop. At the intersection near the hashpoint I left the bike and continued on foot through the forest. I found the hashpoint quickly, it was on a small logging path next to a pile of wooden sticks.
From the many sticks lying around I built a marker and I took the obligatory pictures. Then I went back to my bike. Since I had climbed almost all the mountain, I decided to continue to the top for the view. It didn't take long to reach the Weißer Stein peak restaurant. I climbed the old lookout tower, but the view was blocked by trees. Then I cycled back down again. The way down was much faster than the way up, although I made some stops for pictures. On the last part of my trip, I used the cycling path along the Neckar river because of the scenery.
I issue a challenge for the A Tale of Two Hashes achievement for "Weißer Stein", which means "white stone".
