Expedition

When Calamus arrived at Zurich main station with his aunt, who had been visiting and now returned to her hometown, he decided this was a nice occasion for a hash.

The hashpoint was in Würenlos, a town two S-Bahn stations before Baden, where Calamus had hashed repeatedly (with mixed outcomes). He decided he was faster if he just took an express train to Baden and continued by bus, which he did. He passed the time writing some chansons mocking recent political events, which nobody was ever going to sing. But it made for a good chillout.

Würenlos on a Sunday evening was every bit as sleepy as expected. Calamus walked a short distance along the rail and some woods until he reached the industrial area where the hashpoint was located. It was then that suddenly, the beam of his lamp hit a metal fence before him. What was that? It hadn't been there on the map, or at least Calamus didn't remember it. Was this to be a No Public Access expedition?

It wasn't. The fence was just about two metres long and the road led right past it on its side. Calamus followed it and reached the hashpoint.

He took a direct train back to Zurich. It might take slightly longer than going via Baden, but he had his chansons.
