[[User:Jiml|Jiml]] helpfully decided this was a retro-hash. Pre-retro? I'm sure it doesn't qualify for Deja-vu, what with knowing the coordinates and everything. Anyhow, I tried to edit those tags out remotely, probably to little avail. I only hoped I could talk someone into showing up.

Late Saturday I tucked everyone into bed and took the dog out for a walk. At this point, it was 11 pm, so I decided a midnight visit would be more amenable to getting out of town and back to a Seattle geohash than a morning visit. I returned to the spot and nabbed a bit of sidewalk chalk and reached the coordinates easily.

I chalked a few spots (sidewalk, window sill, and the wall column closest to the coordinates). The late night geohashdroid chosen location was quite a few feet from the original and didn't match the satellite image either, so I visited both and uploaded a message from one and a picture from the other. My old and getting older smartphone has no flash, but I believe you can make out the chalking if you expand the image.

Expedition

Coordinates revealed on Friday, and I had a trip past this spot on a way to a buddies to play board games. I snapped a few photos, allowing geohashdroid to do the work. For this whole trip, the only internet I've had is through an old smart phone - hardly a good tool for editing a wiki.

Jiml helpfully decided this was a retro-hash. Pre-retro? I'm sure it doesn't qualify for Deja-vu, what with knowing the coordinates and everything. Anyhow, I tried to edit those tags out remotely, probably to little avail. I only hoped I could talk someone into showing up.
