LeslieHapablap's plan to spread the word of geohashing in the family worked.
It looked as if the coordinates were easily reachable, even for us geohashing novices. The hashpoint was located in a field near Hartheim and well within cycling distance, so we decided to give it a try and set off to our first expedition.
Expedition
It's beautiful sunshine in the morning when we mount our bikes and get going towards the hashpoint (WaWa immediately falls asleep in her trailer). There is nothing particularly eventful going on, apart from a harvester blocking our way and a local farmer giving us more than just one suspicious look while we are searching for the coordinates. WaWa is still fast asleep while RonObvious makes his way into the field and takes snapshots of the location. Afterwards we return home, now with a fantastic tailwind.
