After visiting the meetup in Köln I traveled to Aachen. With a train I went to Königsdorf, from where I walked to the service station ''Frechen''. There I waited for two hours for a lift to Aachen, where I arrived at 20:30. From there I walked through the whole city to the Melaten campus of the university. I arrived there at 23:00 and waited for midnight. After the ceremonial I walked further to a shelter, where I spent the night. In the morning I had from the Lousberg mount a view onto the city of Aachen.

Expedition
