I (sbear) was going to be meeting up with my girlfriend that day so I thought it would be a good idea to bring her along to this geohash, it was only a few km from my place and the weather was perfect at about 10C and sunny. We headed off to the location shortly after noon and quickly made our way to the planned parking spot on the residential street. We entered the soccer field park and walked along an asphalt path which would take us there. Plenty of people were out that day taking advantage of the warm weather. This was also directly under a power-line route with tons of "robot" towers as my girlfriend likes to call them.

We only had to walk a few hundred meters before getting to the location, then it was just a matter of fine-tuning my position until my phone told me I was in the right place. Easier said than done, for some reason that day, my GPS app had an error of about 9m despite a solid fix. I spent about 10 minutes side stepping and front/back stepping until I got the exact location. Given the margin of error however, I figured I was probably not in the exact spot as intended, but looking back on that location using google maps, it turns out that I was spot on!

Expedition

Regardless, I took a screenshot of my coordinates when reached, took some photos as well as a photosphere (link below) and we spent some more time walking along the path before heading home.
