Expedition

Expedition one

The hashpoint was pretty near by, so I went by before I headed to work.

There were the usual problems of realizing partway there that my GPS batteries were dead and having to go back to get new ones, but it was pretty straightforward to get to. I happen to know the owners, so access was easy.

Expedition two

We had friends who were going to be over there in the evening, so I went by to visit again. I wandered out to the hashpoint and found that it had drifted. Previously it had been on the east side of the fenceline and I had hit distance 0 on the GPS, but by evening it had drifted 10 feet over the fence line.

The same thing happened to me at one of my Boston geohashes. However, I usually only make it once to a hashpoint, so I almost never see this drift.
