Plans
This is the first convenient hashpoint (in both location and timing) that I've seen here in a long time. As such, I went for it.
Expedition
I found the hashpoint under a tree at about 2:50pm and did the usual hashdance to get the Geohash Droid app to report that I was close enough to call it a hit.
I documented a bit of the surroundings:
- The hashpoint is close to Sunrise Lakes retirement community, known fondly to the locals as "God's Waiting Room".
- The city is setting up numerous "passive parks" in the area, or at least they are erecting many signs to announce these parks. These signs have been appearing for years, and I still don't know what a "passive park" is, nor how it might be different from an "active park".
After that I walked a very short distance to Skyline Chili for lunch. I've been to this restaurant many times, but I'd never gotten close enough to the actual hashpoint in the past to call this a Deva Vu achievement.
