I've plenty of time tomorrow and this hashpoint is not to far away. So I will visit it and try to take another step in my minesweeper achievement. I'll go there by bull or bike, but as I have to come back by train, what will take at least 2 1/2 hours, I assume the former.

Ok, it's 10 o'clock now and I think I'll need another half hour before I start. It's a 73 KM ride, so a lot of things can happen, but if my bull fulfills its duty, I'll need ca. 3 hours, so I'll be there at 2 pm. So if Chemluths tricopter is already working we can start an attempt to the by proxy achievement :-) [[User:DODO|DODO]] ([[User talk:DODO|talk]])

I drove about 12 Km by bike to get to the hash after i heard that DODO would be coming. My route was hastly picked and i drove a lot on streets even though there would have been bycicle ways. I met DODO a few hunderd meters from the point and recogniced him from a meetup a while ago. The way to the hash went throug steep vineyards so we left out bikes behind. At the hashpoint it was really windy and i couldnt start the small RC-plane i had brought (No proxy-Achivement today).

I had a nice ride today. Very soon I was happy, that I took the bull to go to the hash. The wind was blowing quite strong from northeast, and I had to go southeast, so many times it came just from the front, and it would have been very hard to go such a long way by bike. I came along several nice villages like Odenheim, Eppingen and Neipperg. I reached Odenheim exactly at high noon and when I entered the village, I heard some bells ringing. It was the carillon of the townhall that gave me a welcome. I took some pictures of all of them and continued. On my further way I found some wild garlic in a forest and stopped to collect some of it. So I had some Bruschetta with pesto for starter this evening :-)

Some minutes before two I reached Hausen and left it at the hashside again. I was surprised, as what looked like an unploughed strip at google came out to be a steep vineyard with a wall at the side of the street, so I couldn't just tether the bull and walk into the field. I continued for a while to find a better access, when Chemluth came across, just where a way goes into the vineyard. We ride a little bit upwards but decided to leave the bikes there and walk the remaining 300 m. Soon we reached the searched field. A path led around it, that gave us a very convenient approach to the searched place. I took some pictures and we tried to start Cheamluth's model airplane, but the wind was much to strong for the lightweight machine. So we just shared some candy bars and went homewards again.

I continued to the station in Heilbronn where I had half an hour until the next train departed. Enough time to have some delicious ice-cream. The train was scheduled with 1:50 h, but there was a football match in Kaiserslautern this evening, because of which the connecting train in Mannheim had a delay of 30 minutes, so I reached home at half past six.
