Remove this section if you don't want an image at the top (left) of your report.  You should remove the "Image:" or "File:"

tag from your image file name, and replace the all upper-case word IMAGE in the above line.

And DON'T FORGET to add your expedition and the best photo you took to the gallery on the Main Page! We'd love to read your report, but that means we first have to discover it! :)

Expedition

Being busy during the day but having a free evening, I left the house at 20:28 and cycled up to Histon.

The first approach to the hashpoint I tried -- a path between houses -- initially seemed promising, but soon headed off in the wrong direction, and in the direction I wished to go, turned into an impenetrable thicket.

I returned to the road and tried another approach further down. This was a track which passed behind some houses and would have taken me to the paddock I wanted, but there was a gate across with a sign saying it was a private track. Besides, from here I could see that there were horses in the paddock, so I couldn't have reached the point anyway.

I returned to the road and cycled home again, arriving back at 21:38, having ridden or walked a total of 15.6 km. I forgot to record the distance of my closest approach to the hashpoint.
